Vet’s Kitchen food takes our veterinary knowledge and insight and combines it with the expertise of some of the UK’s top nutritionists to create a range of top quality foods and supplements that deliver the very best long-term health benefits to your pet.
What’s in our food?
We’re open and honest about everything that goes into our recipes; each one contains top quality, locally sourced ingredients, and naturally functional extras to promote better long-term health. We take our veterinary knowledge and insight and combine it with the expertise of some of the UK’s top nutritionists to create a range of top quality foods, treats and supplements. Our foods are hypoallergenic and free from wheat, beef and soya - thought to be some of the top causes of allergies in pets. There are also no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in our food, as these can do more harm than good.
Chicken is a source of high quality protein that is also highly digestible
Salmon is a protein rich source of healthy energy and full of Omega 3, which promotes healthy skin and a shiny coat
Brown rice provides a great source of dietary fibre, and has a very low glycaemic index to keep blood sugar levels steady and help metabolise fat more efficiently
Sweet Potato is a grain-free source of carbohydrate and full of antioxidants that are great for those with sensitive digestion
Oats are a digestive aid that can help keep cholesterol low
Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM help maintain healthy joint fluid and cartilage
Prebiotics help maintain a healthy gut flora and improve digestive health and immunity
Taurine is an amino acid essential for many functions in the body, and is critical in building normal heart muscle

What’s not in our food?
Our foods are hypoallergenic and free from wheat, beef, maize and soya - thought to be some of the top causes of allergies in pets.
There are also no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, as these ingredients have absolutely no health benefits whatsoever. They will, in fact, cause more harm than good.

All our foods are only tried and tested by willing volunteers before they enter the market place. For us, there’s no better scientific proof than the result; we know your pets are going to love our food because our own animals do.
