Grain Free Diet Launched

01.02.15

Vet’s Kitchen’s new Grain free diet has launched.

The Pork and Potato food uses a novel, single sourced protein and carbohydrate designed to support healthy skin and digestion. For a dog with known allergies feeding a novel protein and carbohydrate diet can make all the difference. A novel or new ingredient is one which the dog has not eaten before. This means the body has not encountered it and has not had a chance to build up a reaction against it. Therefore Vet’s Kitchen decided to use pork as the novel protein and sweet potato as the novel carbohydrate, making this formulation grain and gluten free.

The sensitive dog food ingredients includes high quality pork as the only source of protein for sensitive digestion; sweet potato for healthy energy and a low glycemic index; natural Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM for joint maintenance; natural prebiotic Chicory for maintaining a healthy gut flora, and Omega 3 & 6 for healthy skin and coat.

Like all Vet’s Kitchen foods, the sensitive stomach dog food is hypoallergenic, free from wheat, beef and soya and contains no artificial colours or flavours.

The sensitive variety made with pork and potato is now available in selected Tesco’s stores and online direct from Vet’s Kitchen.
