Vet’s Kitchen is feeding pets free for a week.
Unfortunately, not all pets. Just those taking part in their 'Biggest Loser Challenge'.
Owners will their pets and send in the current weight. Vet’s Kitchen are then providing three weeks’ worth of free food, specifically calculated for a steady and controlled weight loss.
• To be included - owners had to get a photo of their pet being weighed on veterinary scales at the start of the trial.
• We then provided them with 3 weeks free food and gave them feeding instructions based on the pets target weight.
• At the end of the 3 weeks we asked them to get their pet re-weighed and get another photo on the veterinary scales.
Although most people were referred to us from the Klinic rather than the Kitchen Facebook, it certainly looks like something we should try again as with the winning dog and cat (that lost the highest % of body weight) winning a year’s supply of food. Several of the other participants said they would be sticking with the food because of the great results they had seen.
Floss weighed 36.6kg when she signed up and after the three weeks on the Vet's Kitchen Light Food, she lost 7.24% of her body weight and ended up at 33.9kg.
Charlie was 7.2kg when he signed up but after three weeks on Vet's Kitchen Ultra Fresh Cat food, he lost 2.15% of his body weight at 7kg.
