COVID-19 and Vet know-how

During these extraordinary times we would like to reassure our customers that we remain fully operational and are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that your four-legged companions continue to receive the food they love.

The safety and welfare of our staff are paramount, and we continue to follow government guidance to protect them. This means that almost all staff are now working from home except for Tyler, in the warehouse, doing his level best to fulfil your orders. Please bear with us during these difficult times particularly if it takes a little longer than usual to respond to any enquiries you have. To help with this, please can you:

  • Use email to contact us where possible at
  • If you’d like to place an order by phone, please leave a phone no. and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Place orders in plenty of time so we can ensure you get your delivery when you need it.

We are aiming to despatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt with next day delivery, meaning that most orders should be received within 2 working days. However, for some smaller orders and sample requests that are sent by Royal Mail, there may be an additional delay as they are experiencing disruption to service levels due to Coronavirus-related absences at local mail centres and delivery offices.

We are fortunate in that our UK manufacturers have been able to continue working, all be-it on a reduced capacity, but manufacturing of products to date has been maintained.

Unfortunately, however, the packaging supply chain has been affected. This is due to a number of factors including the increased demand for plastic used to produced PPE and reduced manufacturing capacity as social distancing measures are implemented.

To ensure that we can continue to deliver your usual pet food we have temporarily changed some of the packaging that we use. We know how important it is that your pet receives a consistent supply of his/her favourite food so, whilst the packaging may look a little different, please be assured that it contains the same great quality Vet’s Kitchen™ pet food - no changes have been made to the product ingredients or quality.
